Television becoming nightmares in India

Open any channel today. You get drama drama and drama only. And I don’t know why the female population is becoming so emotional and getting attached with all the ongoing soaps.

Every home having a TV are watching all the family dramas… which actually is spoiling each and every home in India. Mostly the girls who were sensible are becoming more and more sensitive.

You never see a any episode where someone or the other is not crying. Without the glycerine there cannot be any serials made in India these days. And again commercialization has taken so much of place in this that you cannot believe, a character belonging to a very poor family wears dresses and makeup which a well doing family members don’t wear while they party.

The most affected is the middle class. Very few are bothered about the stories. The female population learn about the new trends and jewelleries and dresses from these soaps and the male population has to go with them for the shopping. If you go behind the scenes…these jewelleries and dresses are all artificial and you get it in the market in very cheap rate and they are actually meant for TV serials.

Now take the reality shows… they have spoiled the real concept and the actuality of the contests. For example all the singing competition has become a stage for the celebrities to make themselves popular instead of the contestants.

Today the talent is been used for making money. And the talented people are alive only till the session of competition is alive. You will never see people being actually given what they were told in front of the Camera.

My cousin went for one such program to participate and there he was asked to act … whereas he is a singer. His sole job in front of the camera is to perform well with his singing abilities.

But he has to do all the dramas of crying… doing ads for the sponsors of the program.
Sometimes I feel like breaking the Television as I see Indian talent is just heading forward to death.

The news channels has got news about what is happening in the TV soaps… what will happen in the next coming episodes… Is this the content a news channel is meant for?

There was a time I used to die for watching the news at 9 as we got to hear real news.
These days the bullshit reporters … they don’t even know to speak clearly and do the correct pronunciations(talking about the Hindi news channels).
They are insulting our mother tounge in such a bad manner… I can’t digest this.

If this happens to continue for 5 more years… I doub’t people will have any charm in having televisions anymore because every growth has a maturity and then the decline. The Indian television industry has reached its maturity .. now its the time to see the declining market very soon.
